Railway

The Network Rail Link Up Scheme is the UK's rail supplier qualification and verification scheme, which is designed to assure the quality of products and services bought by the rail industry. Achieving Link Up Scheme accreditation allows rail companies to connect with all the major rail companies across the UK and allows them to tender for contracts specific to their abilities.

In order to reach this accreditation, Achilles use the Link Up scheme to perform a thorough audit and review of the company and inspects the quality, safety and environmental management systems implemented by the Company.

SQES offers a comprehensive service to clients by providing various services from gap analysis up to full consultation for the Link Up Scheme approval process. Our consultants visit your offices and assess your existing management systems and produce a full gap analysis. We will develop your management system writing your procedures, policies and associated documentation to ensure a fully compliant and easy to maintain management system. This can stand alone or be integrated with the requirements of ISO9001 (QMS), ISO14001 (EMS) and or OHSAS 18001 (SMS). Our consultants have vast experience in developing fully compliant integrated management systems for many clients. Our consultants will contact Achilles Link Up on your behalf, arrange for your application, and assist on your questionnaire, prepare the company for the Network Rail Link Up Scheme audit and attend the audit as support.

SQES offers a comprehensive service to clients wishing to take the next step up the Network Rail supply chain to become an approved principal contractor supplying directly to Network Rail. Currently companies requiring this status must apply through the Contractors Licensing Scheme (CLS) for approval by Network Rail to become a Principal Contractor. Our consultants will visit your offices and assess your existing management systems and produce a full gap analysis. We will develop your management system to comply with the contractors licensing scheme and take you right through to approval, with full training and support on management and maintenance of the systems.
